David Cillian James - Book & Lyrics
David is the author of the book and lyrics of Everybody Loves a Cold War. He is a Canadian and Irish citizen residing in Paris, France. He is the author of a musical Prairie Salt (with Jeffrey Pufahl), two novels – The Clueless Revolutionary and The Butcher’s Apprentice, and a number of novels, screenplays and stage plays that are works in progress. David is also an accomplished songwriter.

Robby is a drummer, singer, and songwriter with over two decades of extensive international touring and studio experience. Robby has worked with major artists such as Chet Faker, Linda Perry, Natasha Bedingfield, and Will Linley. Since moving to Paris he has become a sought-after songwriter and topliner, working with labels like BMG and Universal Music. In 2026, Robby launched Big Pebble Records - an independent record label based in Paris. Robby Sinclair’s score blends elements of rock, jazz, Russian folk music and more to create an unforgettable musical experience full of hit songs and haunting themes
Jeffrey Pufahl - Director & Dramaturg
Jeffrey is an accomplished theater practitioner and publicly engaged scholar with over 30 years of professional experience in theatre, film, and higher education in Canada, the US, and the UK. Jeffrey holds an MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati, and an MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of Victoria. From 2000-2015 Jeffrey worked as a professional actor and director in Canadian regional theatres and has performed in many musicals, plays, operas, and films. Jeffrey has directed a variety of plays and musicals in Canadian theatres and as well as devising and creating new works and touring the Canadian Fringe. His musical Caberlesque! was a Canadian Fringe hit that played to sold out audiences from 2006-2009 across Canada. In 2015, Jeffrey moved to the US and transitioned to academia at the University of Florida where he spent eight years pioneering theatre programs for patient populations, creating documentary theatre plays, and devising new plays focused on health education.
